A Texas man died in a multiple vehicle traffic collision on the Turner Turnpike in Lincoln County three days before Christmas, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports.
State Trooper Shayne Ballard of the Traffic Homicide Division identified the man who died as Adelfino Alaniz, 77, of Freer, Texas.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Medical Examiner.
Ballard said he was transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Oklahoma City.
The trooper reported the collision occurred shortly after 8:30 a.m. on the Turner Turnpike in the eastbound lanes at mile marker 152, four miles east of the Town of Luther.

He said what happened and cause of the collision are still under investigation.
Ballard said conditions of Singh and Kerley at the time of the crash were apparently normal and the condition of Alaniz is under investigation.
