The Oklahoma Department of Transportation reported earlier this week that U.S. 62 east of SH 102 in Lincoln County has been repaired.
On Monday morning, ODOT narrowed the highway to one lane with flaggers about one mile east of SH 102 between 3330 Rd. and 3340 Rd. near Harrah due to heat-related pavement damage, the agency said.
The roadway reportedly was repaired and all lanes of the highway between 3330 Rd. and 3340 Rd. in Lincoln County were back open by late that same night, ODOT said.
That highway had been resurfaced within the past two or three years.
