I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
This scripture has been quoted many times, but there must be something done to put Jesus in us. That is to follow Him, and if we are following Him, we are doing what He said to do. No man will do what He said because Christ is not there in man.
When we decide to trust in no man and lean not on our own understanding, Jesus will come and teach us how to get away from ourselves by His teaching. Don’t do things to be seen of man and seek the kingdom of heaven and His righteousness first. Let Him start speaking for us. When we are of the kingdom of God, it will not be us anymore but Christ in us. Praise God for everything when we see it is no longer us, but Christ in us that does what is commanded of us. From the very beginning it was Jesus who did it all. He even put the thought to do His commandments in our mind.
Keep in mind that God gave us the Ten Commandments knowing man would not keep them. When we have the desire to keep them Jesus comes in us, and we keep them. It’s not us by Christ in us.
