Lincoln County Commissioners

Lincoln County commissioners this week approved a service agreement with the Child Advocacy Center of Central Oklahoma and adopted a resolution with the Center as well.

They also approved a contract with Commercial Roof Solutions for the Fair Barn Reroof project.

Earlier this month they awarded a bid to Commercial Roof Solutions for $518,437 for that project.

Commissioners also voted to have the County Clerk’s Office go out for bids for goat, sheep and pig panels for the fair barn.

They approved lease agreements with CL Boyd for graders in District 1 and approved the Lincoln County annual Financial Statement and notes for the Fiscal Year end June 30, 2025.

In other business, commissioners: Adopted a resolution for a Sheriff vehicle total loss settlement offer.

Approved contracts with Apprentice for the County Clerk’s Office.

Approved a change order for the OSU Extension Building project.

Adopted a resolution for OSU Extension office rent. Approved Public Service for online auction of office supplies and equipment.

Adopted a resolution regarding Social Security Administration incentive funds.

Agreed to participate in the Purdue Bankruptcy/ Sackler Settlement.

Adopted a resolution declaring Lincoln County a Purple Heart County.

Declared a Surplus for District 2, Sheriff’s Office and Emergency Management.

Adopted a resolution for disposing of that equipment in those offices.

State Rep. Jim Shaw addressed commissioners briefly regarding legislation from this past session, noting some of the issues he had supported and some of the bills that passed.

He said a total of 3,200 bills had been filed between the House and Senate and that about 500 of those were signed into law.
