The McLoud City Council during its most recent meeting established a Review Committee for the McLoud TIF District by appointing several persons to it.
The members or their designated representative appointed to the committee include Rhonda Hockenberry, McLoud School District; Julie McCormick, Gordon Cooper Technology Center; Lisa Wells, Pioneer Library Systems; Daryn Kirkpatrick, Pottawatomie County Health Department; Wendy Magnus, Pottawatomie County Treasurer’s Office; Pottawatomie County District 1 Commissioner Melissa Dennis; Dale Acting School Supt. Ky Wilkins; Roger White, McLoud Planning Commission.
The Council took no action on an amendment to appoint Mayor Stan Jackson, Councilman Daniel McClure, J.E. Rooker, Dean Hill and Paul Higdon to that committee.
Council members approved a budget amendment and City Manager Buck Day said it’s for authorization to spend up to $20,000 for three generators.
Day explained one generator each is for city hall, the police department and the fire department and the amount authorized includes purchase and installation.
The Council voted to appoint Carl Clemmons, Mayor Jackson and Roger White to the Board of Adjustment.
Council members took no action to have the city attorney draft an ordinance to change the zone district of Medical Marijuana dispensaries to an Industrial Zone versus a Commercial Zone.
They also took no action on the McLoud Public Hunting Program.
The Council approved the Fiscal Year 21 REAP Grant Closeout.
