Meeker trustees approve payments

Meeker’s Town Board of Trustees, during a recently held special meeting, approved several payments related to an Oklahoma Water Resource Board loan and grants.

Meeker Town Clerk and Treasurer Mary Conner said the board met as the Meeker Public Works Authority in approving the various payments.

She confirmed the first action taken was to approve Engineering JointContractDocumentsCommittee(EJCDC) with Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC.

The Trustees then agreed to approve an invoice for $10,000 with Infrastructure Solutions Group LLC on the Water System Improvements project, she said.

Next, the Authority approved a work order for the OWRB REAPWater System Improvements Project with Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC for engineering services to be paid in a lump sum of $10,700 and $4,300 for project representative services, she stated.

Conner said a work order was also approved as part of an OWRA Rural Infrastructure grant with Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC for engineering services in a lump sum of $11,300 and $4,800 for project representative services.

Conner explained Authority members then approved making a payment of $35,144.27 to the Oklahoma Water Resources Board for the $1.7 million loan secured on the project in March of 2021.
