New felony for Chandler man

A Chandler man, previously convicted of at least nine felonies in Lincoln County, faces a new felony.

Jerry Edward Hallmark, 41, was recently charged in Lincoln County District Court with bringing contraband into jail/penal institution.

A bench warrant was issued for his arrest. Hallmark is accused on Jan. 19, 2024 of bringing a syringe into the Lincoln County Jail.

Supplemental information filed by the District Attorney’s Office shows that Hallmark was first convicted in Lincoln County District on Sept. 24, 2008 of second degree burglary His other previous convictions, all in Lincoln County, include: April 24, 2012, second degree burglary April 10, 2013, two counts of second degree burglary. June 28, 2016, second degree burglary, knowingly concealing stolen property and grand larceny.

Also on June 28, 2016, possession of a stolen vehicle and larceny of an automobile.
