Special meeting

Lincoln County commissioners during a special meeting recently, voted to accept the J&J settlement agreement.

District 3 Commissioner Lee Doolen, who is also chairman of the commission, stated that commissioners took the action following an executive session.

They also approved a transfer of appropriations from County Bridge and Road Improvement Funds to District 3 for a bridge project on 3320 Road, Doolen said.

Also approved were the title sheets for three Bureau of Indian Affairs-funded bridges in District 1, he stated.

Doolen reported no action was taken on approving documents regarding ARPA funds that commissioners agreed 2-1 on Aug. 22 for a water infrastructure project for a line on U.S. 62 from Jacktown west to Fowler Rd.

Commissioners voted to refund Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority money to Red 3, LLC.

Doolen said no action was taken to change the Estimate of Needs and that there was a discussion but no action taken on moving ARPA requests to OMMA funding.

Commissioners approved the Lincoln County annual financial statement.

On appointing sales tax committee members, Doolen stated commissioners agreed to contact present members to see if they want to continue before making any changes.
