Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas, announced its spring graduating class on June 6, which included Gage Parrick from Stroud.
Parrick graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in LiberalArts and Sciences, according to a press release from the college.
Southwestern College held commencement exercises on Sunday, May 5, which included a reception for graduates and their familiesandtheOrderofthe Mound honorary society induction. This represents the top 10% of students academically, the college said.
Southwestern College is a private liberal arts college founded in 1885 by Methodists in south-central Kansas. The college is affiliated with the United Methodist Church and accredited by the Higher Learning Commission to offer bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees.
