Woman dies in crash

A McLoud woman died Monday night in a single vehicle collision north of Stroud in Lincoln County.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Jacob Hunn identified the woman killed in the collision as Autumn Johnson, 33. She was pronounced dead at the scene by Miller EMS from head injuries, the trooper reported.

Hunn said the woman was driving a 2012 Mazda 3 northbound on SH 99 when it left the roadway to the left, struck a culvert and rolled approximately 1½ times. Johnson was ejected about 30 feet from her vehicle, the trooper reported.

The collision occurred around 9:15 p.m. about a quarter of a mile south of 780 Road, approximately eight miles north of Stroud, Hunn said.

Seat belts were equipped in the car but not in use, the trooper said.
