Alex Johnson, the son of Robert and Holly Johnson of Sparks, has completed one phase of his Boy Scouts of America Eagle Scout project. The 13-year-old has been a scout since he was six years old.
Alex built and installed a Little Free Library located beside Anthony’s Foods on Main Street in Prague and also one at 502 N. Kickapoo in Shawnee, Okla.
A Little Free Library is a “take a book, return a book” free book exchange. The free libraries come in many shapes and sizes, but the most common version is a small wooden box of books. Anyone can take a book or bring a book to share.
