Courtney Green of Meeker will be among the 226 candidates receiving bachelor’s degrees from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva. She has completed requirements for a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

Because of restrictions placed on social gatherings, the university has opted for a virtual commencement ceremony to honor their graduates. The event will be 10:30 a.m., May 9, via Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram and the university website, nwosu. edu.

Graduating students have been submitting information and photos for the virtual ceremony and also have the option to walk in a commencement ceremony in Dec. 2020.
