County Commissioners

Lincoln County commissioners this week approved bridge design contracts for District 1 and District 2 and also approved Crosstown Beam transfer forms.

They also discussed but took no action on the County Improvement Road and Bridge Project Allocation Plan for SFY 2022 and the SFY2023-2028 Draft.

Commissioners were informed the design contracts are for the four bridges that have been determined to be the priorities in those districts.

The Crosstown Beam transfers are for the bridge projects that are being funded by the BIA.

The commissioners were advised there are 15 beams in Logan County and 10 in Seminole County.

“You have to figure out how to get them here and where to put them,” they were told.

The commissioners were encouraged to get the beams transferred as soon as possible and within a month or so more will be identified.

Commissioners also adopted a Use Tax Resolution to purchase a Kubota Excavator off of the Sourcewell Contract.

In other action, the commissioners:

Approved a Declaration of Surplus in District 2.

Adopted a resolution approving requesting, receiving, inventory officers for Districts 1 and 3.

Approved designation of Purchase Cardholders.

Approved the 2020-2021 SEFA Report which deals with federal funds the county received.
