County holds off on raises

Lincoln County commissioners this week voted to hold off setting new salaries for elected officials for the Fiscal Year 2021-22 and decided to go back to their original salaries for now.

Commission Chairman Lee Doolen suggested, “We hold off until we know what the other counties are doing. We’re in kind of a holding pattern,” he added, indicating there is some confusion at this time.

Commissioners Carl Munson and Marlon Miller, along with Doolen, all voted to go back for now.

The commission also approved a Mutual Cooperation agreement between the city of Chandler and the Board of County Commissioners.
