Curbside pickup and new books available at Chandler Public Library

The Chandler Public Library is offering curbside pickup of books 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday, Wednesday and Friday for patrons to pick up books. You can get on the library’s website www. chandlerlibrary.okpls.org to access the card catalog.

You can choose up to three books per family. Call the library at (405) 258-3204 and leave your name and phone number along with the title and author of the books you want. A librarian will call you back to arrange a time for you to come to the library to pick them up.

Under no circumstances will anyone be allowed to come into the library. There is a book drop available outside the building for returning books.

Several new books were purchased in April, which are now available for readers to check out. They are “After Sundown” by Linda Howard, “Conspiracy of Bonesby” by Kathy Reichs, “Devoted” by Dean Koontz, “Fearless” by Fern Michaels, “Forgotten Murders” by Jude Deveraux and “Hit List” by Stuart Woods.

Also new to the shelves are “Jerusalem Assassin” by Joel Rosenberg, “Last Odyssey” by James Rollins, “Numbers Game” by Danielle Steel, “Texas Outlaw” by James Patterson, “Revenge” by James Patterson, “Tranquility Falls” by Davis Bunn and “Long Range” by C.J. Box.

Young adult books added are “Chain of Gold” by Cassandra Clare and Stephen King’s “Dark Tower: The Drawing of the Three – The Prisoner,” #1 of a graphic novel series.
