A Meeker resident faces two felonies and two misdemeanors after he was found slumped over his vehicle in the middle of a Lincoln County intersection.
Two felony drug charges were filed in Lincoln County District Court Aug. 4 against Ray Dean Hagar, 63.
A $10,000 bench warrant for Hagar’s arrest was issued the same day charges were filed, but has since been returned and filed as of Aug. 9. Hagar’s initial appearance is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Sep. 2.
The first felony count accuses him of unlawful possession of a Controlled Dangerous Drug with intent to distribute by possessing methamphetamine, a CDS, near the intersection of 3410 Road and 960 Road.
The second charge is also for unlawful possession with intent to distribute by possessing marijuana at the same intersection.
In count 3, Hagar is charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia by possessing digital scales, a spoon and numerous small plastic bags used to pack, store, contain and conceal methamphetamine, marijuana and other controlled dangerous substances.
Count 4 accuses Hagar of actual physical control of a vehicle while under the influence, by being in actual physical control of a GMC truck on 3210 Road when he allegedly was intoxicated and under the influence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance or substances.
A probable cause affidavit filed by Lincoln County Deputy Sheriff Kelly Coleman revealed that Hagar has been arrested multiple times since 1981 for charges of trafficking and/or possession of CDS with intent to distribute.
