Our Lord showed me one time over a period of about a year why the Commandments of God are so important. Man will think it not necessary and say Jesus did it all, and all we have to do is believe in Him.
I guess if we believed in Him, we would do what was written of what He said. The Bible is not what is written of Him totally but what He said also. So, as it starts out that no man will keep Jesus’ sayings or the Commandments of God. Really what happens when we do, it will not be us but Jesus in us keeping them. It was not the man Jesus who kept them but the Father in Him. Same way with us. So, going on to what Jesus said for us to do. His sayings have not been kept by man but by the Father who was done by Jesus by the Spirit of God, not the man and Him.
When we keep His sayings, we are transformed to Spirit, and there we are safe from fear. We need to make sure we are not controlled by the pleasures of life which come with fear. What we fear becomes our master.
Let’s learn who God is so we will know when we become one in Him, and we have turned from the things of this world.
Let’s battle against the man that once controlled us that keeps us from keeping the sayings of Jesus. The things Jesus wanted us to see are not seen by man. Until we pass through that gate into the realm of spiritual, we cannot see what is there. Man thinks he is in the kingdom of God, but until we keep Jesus’ sayings the eyes and the ears of man will keep us out. The kingdom of God is where we become like Him. Then we can call Him Father, and He will answer and hear our prayers.
Don’t forget we are here to be like God, and we will be if we keep Jesus’ sayings. That does away with the man we like being so much until we see the inner man and become part of Him who loves the Father. So be the child of God not by the deceived mind of man but by the inward man that was here before God made the world.
