Kingdom of Heaven

Today the Lord wanted me to remind people to always watch and pray. Jesus talked about this a lot in the recorded scriptures of His teachings. He said to always watch and pray. This doesn’t leave much room for the things that choke the word of God out of us as we see in the parable of the sower.

Jesus said if we are not watching He would pass us by. I am concerned that we spend too much time in pleasure seeking rather than we do in seeking the Lord. Jesus said seek and we will find. Jesus’ return is in the Spirit. Clouds represent Spirit. Watch for Him in the Spirit. Our minds show us where our heart is. I know most will not take this seriously, but we must follow what Jesus said to do in order to get away from ourselves.

Our soul wants to seek the Lord. The man finds it not important, because he has found some shortcut he thinks.

So Jesus told the virgins to keep oil in their lamps because they don’t know what hour the groom will come. How can we see Jesus when our mind is on material things, but Jesus is Spirit.

Maybe we all should enter into this battle and obey our soul’s desire. Be serious in your watch. Some people’s jobs make it difficult to watch and pray at all times because their job does not leave room for mistakes. The Lord knows this and will reward you when your job is not causing your mind to be elsewhere. Pleasure is something different or even seeking glory for ourselves even our words and actions.

Maybe we should ask ourselves, who is our God? I will say this that the return of the Lord is always now, right here and now and not in the sky. When it comes to our Creator He will treat everyone equal. He is not going to be a part-time God, and He has demanded many times all of our watch. Don’t make money our God, but at the same time don’t become a bum because you won’t work.

Whatever that can happen that is bad may be closer that you think.
