Lincoln County commissioners

Lincoln County commissioners, during a special meeting recently, adopted a resolution authorizing County Bridge and Road Improvement (CBRI) funds to be used for repair of a washed out tin horn during the recent June flooding. The tin horn is located in District 1.

Vice chairman of the commission Carl Munson, who is District 1 commissioner, said the tin horn was placed on 770 Road, 1 ½ miles west of SH 18. He said the cost was around $18,000 and that a generous landowner in the area donated the fill dirt.

Commissioners also approved a Memorandum of Understanding with Chandler Public Schools for a School Resource Officer Program.

Lincoln County Clerk Alicia Wagnon said Deputy Aaron Bennett is that officer and this is his third year to serve in that position.
