New books at library

New releases were purchased for the Chandler Public Library, in addition to 11 books added to the audio/compact disc collection.

New audiobooks include “The Stranger in the Lifeboat” by Mitch Albom, “Thick as Thieves” by Sandra Brown, “The Law of Innocence” by Michael Connelly, “What Happens in Paradise” by Elin Hilderbrand, “Reminder of Him” by Colleen Hoover, “The Bullet” by Iris Johansen, “Daughter of the Morning Star” by Craig Johnson, “Where the Crawdads Sing” by Della Owens, “Flying Angels” by Danielle Steel, “The 19th Christmas” by James Patterson and “The Last Trial” by Scott Turow.

New books include “Shadows Reel” by C.J. Box, “Caramel Pecan Roll Murder” by Joanne Fluke, “Nothing to Lose” by J.A. Jance, “Gwendy’s Final Task” by Stephen King, “Under the Bayou Moon” by Valerie Frazier Luesse, “The Lightning Rod” by Brad Meltzer, “Run, Rose, Run” by James Patterson and Dolly Parton, “Steal” by James Patterson, “Sons of Encouragement” by Francine Rivers and the young adult award winning book “Firekeeper’s Daughter” by Angeline Boulley.

The library is located at 1021 S. Manvel Ave. Library hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday.
