Carl “Tom” Thomas Hubbell was born March 9, 1937, in Stroud and died Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at his home in Stroud. He was 84 years old.
Hubbell, the son of Floyd Gordon and Esther Joyce (Collins) Hubbell, married Leslie Ann Holt in Colorado in November 1982.
He was a 1955 graduate of Stroud High School and graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in geology. He served in Vietnam with the United States Air Force and was a commercial airline pilot with United Airlines.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his sister Eva Lou Kitchen.
Survivors include his wife Leslie Ann Hubbell; two sons, Thomas Matthew Hubbell and Aaron John Hubbell; two grandchildren; his brother Floyd Gordon Hubbell Jr.; and other family and friends.
