David Wayne Gilman was born to Roy and Wanda Gilman on September 12, 1966, in Midwest City, Okla. He died Monday, August 23, 2021, in Oklahoma City due to complications of COVID-19 pneumonia. He was 54 years old.
David graduated from Stroud High School and worked as a truck driver for Acord Transportation.
His brother Michael Gilman preceded him in death. Survivors include his parents; the mother of his children Candie Gilman Raines; his daughters Brittany Schaeffer and wife Traci and Shelby Gilman; his son and daughter-in-law Jonathan and Gayle Gilman; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Kim and Tony Stewart and Milissa and Leonard Ferrell; two grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held 10 a.m., Friday, August 27, 2021, at Stroud Cemetery. Care Services are provided by Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
