Linda Carol (Gilbert) Hall was born on June 1, 1943, to Lewis and Eva (Moore) Gilbert in Oakland, California.

She went home to be with the Lord on March 21, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

She attended Meeker High School. Once she had graduated she went to work for Allen Bradley – TDK. She retired from Eaton Corporation in Shawnee after 22 years of working there. While working at Eaton, she had a perfect track record for her attendance, until health problems overtook her. She met and married the love of her life, Buford “Butch” Hall on November 2, 1980. They made their home in Meeker. Linda had many hobbies. She loved to read and listen to country music. Elvis was always a favorite of hers. She also enjoyed visiting with friends and family, and taking care of those she loved. Linda had an endearing quality about her, once she made you her friend, you were a friend for life! Butch said his favorite food that she made for him was spaghetti and meat sauce. Her favorite was cheesecake. She and Butch enjoyed going to both the 1st Baptist Church and Assembly of God Church in Meeker.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Leroy Gilbert, Kenneth Gilbert, and Charles Gilbert and sister Gertrude Gentry. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 43 years, Butch Hall; son, Michael Edmonds; grandchildren, Courtney Edmonds, Kayden Edmonds and Darien Edmonds; special friends, Mary Ellen Lam and Betty Reed; fur babies, Buddy and Lady, along with numerous nieces and nephews and a host of good friends. A visitation for Linda was held Monday, March 25, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home, 44909 Highway 3, Shawnee, OK 74801. A funeral service was held Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Resthaven Chapel, 44909Highway3,Shawnee,OK74801.Acommittal service will follow the funeral service in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.
