Terry Allen Ford of Wellston was born July 5, 1949. He died Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at the age of 71 years.
Ford, the son of Cecil and Bonnie (Phelps) Ford, married Trisha Prough on March 19, 1999.
A 1968 graduate of Wellston High School, he was trained in heat, ventilation and air conditioning and had his own company before working for the United States Postal Service. He was U.S. Postmaster for Wellston, Tryon and Agra retiring in 2017.
His parents preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife Trisha Ford of the home, two grown children, two brothers and other relatives and friends.
At his request, there will be no funeral service due to COVID-19. He will be buried at Wellston Cemetery. Final arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
