Ardith Mae (Dingman) Paterson of Stroud was born March 24, 1947, in Kendrick. She died Sunday, January 2, 2022, in Stroud at the age of 74 years.
Paterson, the daughter of Donald Franklin and Susie Lavada (Foster) Dingman, married Charles “Pat” Fredie Paterson on September 17, 1971, in Missouri.
She worked as a truck driver alongside her husband for 40 years.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; one son, Bobby Joe Cody; one stepdaughter, Vicki Leann Paterson Rowen; three brothers, James Dingman, David Dingman and Ronald Dingman; and her sister Mary Sue Dingman.
Survivors include one son, Donald Gene Cody; her sister-in-law Kathy Reeves and husband Jerry; her son-in-law Raymond Rowen; two brothers, Bill Dingman and Dean Dingman; and other family and friends.
A graveside service honoring her life was held Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Stroud Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating.
Care services were under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
