Bobby Dean Green was born on October 8, 1940 in Prague, Okla., and departed this life on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at home in Meeker at the age of 81.
Bobby was the son of Victor and Lillie Green. He was a resident of Meeker. He married Mary Luella (Thompson) Green on June 14, 1958, with whom he spent 58 wonderful years. He was a devoted husband, father and a very hard worker. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, his dog Jim Bob and being with his family. He could build anything and would give the shirt off of his back to anyone who needed it.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Lillie Green; his wife, Mary Green; his sister, Patsy Gouker; brother, Raymond Green; sisters-in-law, Darlene Clark and Delilah Coker; brothers-in-law, Joe and Sydney Thompson; sons, Louis and Curtis Green; daughter-in-law, Joanne Green and granddaughter, Sarah Southerland.
He is survived by his children, Gary Green of Meeker, JoAnn Harper of Meeker and William Green and his wife Tammy of Sparks; grandchildren, Justin and Jessica Terrell of Prague, John and B.J. Green of Meeker, Jason Hickman of Cushing, P.J. and Brandi Breazeale of Meeker, Misty Doughty of Paden, Michael Decker of Meeker, Brittney Green of Meeker, Baylee Green of Sparks, Brooklynn Green of Sparks and 18 greatgrandchildren; brothers, Victor and Arnold Green of Georgia; sister-in-law, Donna Thompson of Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
A graveside service was held Monday, November 29, 2021 at Gable Cemetery.
