Elizabeth Elaine Easter, former resident of Chandler, Okla., passed away July 9, 2021, at the age of 76. Elaine was born April 10, 1945, in Durant, Okla. She was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Edwards.
Elaine loved to surround herself with animals. She lived her dream job when she worked at the Oklahoma City Zoo. In her lifetime, she traveled to exotic places like Okinawa, South Korea, Japan and throughout the United States as an Air Force wife. If you knew Elaine, she was full of orneriness and always told you what was on her mind even if you didn’t want to know.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, John and Elizabeth Edwards; her loving husband Dean Easter; and brother Tim Edwards.
She is survived by her two sisters, Della Fossum and Ruth Schanbacher; four children, Jerry Easter, John Morton, Robin Easter-Neubauer and Cindi Spurgeon; eight grandchildren, Jerrod Smith, Jacque Khanagov, Kathleen Kline, Tyler Easter, Caitlin Schoen, Meghan Kirtley, Makayla Dobrinski, Gregory Spurgeon; and 12 great grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by so many.
