Linda Dell Gallaway was born October 15, 1946, in Sayre, Okla. She died Saturday, March 7, 2020, in Oklahoma City at the age of 73 years.
Gallaway, the daughter of Melvin and Velma Dell Cook, married Dean Gallaway in 1961.
She attended Meeker High School and worked in various fields retiring from operating an in-home daycare center.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Delores Jean Stinnett, Gola Faye Langley and Billie Deanna Cloud Davis; and one brother, O’Dell Cook.
Survivors include four sons and daughters-inlaw, Bobby and Glenda Gallaway, Tommy and Angi Gallaway, James and Tina Gallaway and Kevin and Jessica Gallaway; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Eugene and Rebecca Cloud, Raymond and Sue Cook, Melvin Jr. and Karen Cook and Bobby and Cleta Cook; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Services, which were entrusted to Browns Family Funeral Home in Chandler, were held Thursday, March 12, 2020, at First Baptist Church in Meeker.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to The CARE Center in Oklahoma City.
