Virgie Mae Prince was born October 26, 1940, in Owensville Ark. She died Saturday, March 28, 2020, at her home in Edmond, Okla. She was 79 years old.
Prince, the daughter of Clomer and Lona Virgie (Hefley) Chenault, married George Arlie Prince on April 20, 1963, in Edmond.
A 1958 graduate of Capitol Hill High School in Oklahoma City, she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History Education in 1961 from Central State College in Edmond. She worked at Memorial Park Cemetery and attended Spring Creek Assembly of God Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband and her brother Johnie.
Survivors include her brother Don Chenault and sister Bonnie Reed and other relatives and friends.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, March 31, 2020, at Davenport Cemetery under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
