W. “Louise” (Donaldson) Ellis passed away February 15, 2022, in her home surrounded by family and friends. Louise was born on October 2, 1943, in Pinon, N.M., to Wincle Hood and Lucille Colleen (Tanner) Donaldson.
Louise married Calvin Edward Ellis on August 31, 1959 in Harrah, Okla. Together they have four daughters, 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, with one on the way.
Louise was first and foremost, a homemaker, her family was everything to her. She worked at Meeker Drug, and the B & R in Meeker when her girls were older. She also helped as a poll worker for elections and loved helping out with Vacation Bible School at Morning Star Baptist Church in Meeker. Louise was an avid collector of “Boyd Bears” and we have the proof to show you.
Louise’s family would like to express their gratitude to Loving Care Home Health and Hospice of Shawnee, Okla., for their compassionate care and love over the last 14 years. Please know that without your support and love to our family we would not have been able to endure the pain of losing our sweet wife/momma/ grandma/meema.
