There will be an election on Tuesday, April 1st for Stroud City Council members. Stroud High School graduate Caleb Ball has announced his candidacy for Ward #3. Caleb is the son of David Ball and the late Angela Ball. He is married to Elizabeth, and they have two young children. It’s encouraging to see the younger generation interested in serving our community. I’m sure others may have filed but I have not seen a complete list of candidates as of this date.
Charla Owens surprised her husband John Owens on his 80th birthday with a celebration at D’s Specialty House this past Friday.
