A Prague man charged with three felonies, among them two for assaulting officers, has entered a guilty plea.Formal charges were filed in Lincoln County District Court Feb. 3, against Ted William Griffi n, 35.

Lincoln County commissioners this week appointed a new County Court Clerk to fill the position that longtime Court Clerk Cindy Kirby is stepping down from after 21 years.On Monday of this week, commissioners unanimously appointed Kirby’s first deputy Kristie Hammock to succeed Kirby.

A motion to revoke has been continued against a Shawnee man who earlier pleaded guilty and was handed a suspended sentence.Jonathon Lee Nice, 36, was formally charged in Lincoln County District Court with child abuse on Sep. 22, 2023.
