David Wayne Henshall

David Wayne Henshall of Meeker, Okla., left this earth on Jan. 8, 2022, at the age of 60. Dave was born on May 13, 1961 to Troy Wayne and Anna Jean (Gilliland) Henshall. Dave moved to Yankton, S.D., during high school and lived there for 33 years.

Donna Kay Hamlet 83, of Stroud, Okla., went to be with our sweet savior Jesus on Saturday, January 8, 2022. She was born January 14, 1938 in Oklahoma City, Okla., and was adopted and raised by her parents Hubert G. Beard and Pearl Mae Cooper in Bristow, Okla.

Rickey Louis Tonubbee

Rickey Louis Tonubbee of Davenport, Okla., passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022. Rickey was born November 2, 1954 in Lawton, Okla., to J.L. “Jim” and Wanda (Martin) Tonubbee. Rickey and his family have always been around the Davenport area. He graduated from Davenport Schools in 1972.

Edwin Lafeyette Wiseman

Edwin Lafeyette Wiseman was born May 26, 1935, in Garland, Okla., and died Friday, January 14, 2022, in Stillwater, Okla. He was 86 years old. Wiseman graduated from Englewood High School in Kansas and served in the United States Army.

Raymond Louis Pennock

Raymond Louis Pennock was born to William Pennock and Charolette Spooner on June 6, 1949, in Pawnee, Okla. He died Friday, January 14, 2022, at his home in Stroud. He was 72 years old. Raymond served in the United States Army and worked as an electrician until retirement.

Lisa Taylor was born April 28, 1967, in Dallas, Texas, and died Friday, January 14, 2022. She was 54 years old. Taylor started Bird Brains and Feathered Friends in Davenport. One of four children, she was preceded in death by her parents.

Betty Lee Grillo, 88, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022, in Cleveland, Okla. Betty was born September 15, 1933, in Wellston, Okla., to Russell and Nanie (Henson) Duncan. Betty was the youngest of Russell and Nanie’s nine children.

Deena Rae Miller Rains

Deena Rae Miller Rains, 91, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022, in Shawnee, Okla. Deena was born August 30, 1930, in Payson, Okla., to Glenn and Emily Gertrude (Barbee) Miller. Deena attended Pleasant Grove School north of Meeker and later attended Meeker High School.

Ardith Mae Paterson

Ardith Mae (Dingman) Paterson of Stroud was born March 24, 1947, in Kendrick. She died Sunday, January 2, 2022, in Stroud at the age of 74 years. Paterson, the daughter of Donald Franklin and Susie Lavada (Foster) Dingman, married Charles “Pat” Fredie Paterson on September 17, 1971, in Missouri.

Richard James Knight

Richard James “Rick” Knight, 81, of Oklahoma City was born to Charley George and Beatrice Elizabeth (Dossey) Fisher on Nov. 25, 1940. He died Friday, Dec. 24, 2021. A 1958 graduate of Meeker High School, Rick worked as a forester in Oregon before driving a truck for Sylvania and Pinkerton.
