Carl Ellis Hodge of Stroud was born February 10, 1937, in Turley, Okla. He died Saturday, July 24, 2021, at the age of 84 years. Hodge, the son of Clyde Harlan and Georgia May (Smiley) Hodge, married Helen Carr in 1955. A graduate of Bristow High School, Bristow, Okla., he worked as a mechanic.

Longtime Stroud resident Judy Trout was born August 8, 1941, in Cushing, Okla. She died Monday, August 9, 2021, at the age of 80 years. Trout, the daughter of LeRoy and Margurite (Blair) Hayter, married Bob Trout on November 29, 1972, and settled in Stroud.

M. Saginaw Grant, “Wapime” (grey fish), was born July 20, 1936, in Pawnee, Okla. He died Wednesday, July 28, 2021, in North Hollywood, Calif. He was 85 years old.

Ruth Bernice Terronez was born February 15, 1934, at her home near Dwight Mission in Oklahoma. She died Friday, July 30, 2021, in Stroud at the age of 87 years. Terronez, a graduate of Sallisaw High School, studied at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Okla.

Dale Lee Miller, age 49, died on Sunday morning, August 1, 2021, in Tulsa, Okla., due to Covid related issues. Born in Roswell, N.M., to his mother, Sherry Baldwin, on June 14, 1972, Dale enjoyed many things, the outdoors most of all including - hiking through the woods, camping, hunting, fishing.
