LBC to host “All Glory To God” Conference

Evangelist Gregg Waggoner and his wife, Sandy, will be with Liberty Baptist Church, Chandler, for the “All Glory To God” Conference Wednesday, March 31, through Easter Sunday, April 4. The service times are 7 p.m., Wednesday through Friday; 6 p.m.

Walter Lee Nichols

A funeral will be held for Walter Lee Nichols at 2 p.m., today, March 25, 2021, in the chapel of Lehman Funeral Home, which handled the final arrangements. The Rev. Dennis Osborne will officiate and burial will follow at Wellston Cemetery. Nichols was born February 1, 1934, in Chappell, Neb.

Regina Shurmet (Kerns) Robinette

Regina Shurmet (Kerns) Robinette of Tryon was born to Steve Edward and Beulah Catherine (Davis) Kerns on September 30, 1963, in Chandler. She died Wednesday, March 17, 2021, in Tryon at the age of 57 years, 5 months and 17 days.

Myrtle Sarah Robinson

Myrtle Sarah (Gayman) Robinson was born to Garold “Jack” and Ova (Taylor) Gayman on July 24, 1937, in Wellston. She died Tuesday, March 9, 2021, in Meeker at the age of 83 years. Robinson attended school in Warwick and Wellston and worked at the bakery in Chandler.

Brian Keith Stanley

Brian Keith Stanley was born to Marvin and Charlene (Sikes) Stanley on February 16, 1965, in Decatur, Ga. He died Saturday, March 6, 2021, at his home in Paden, Okla. He was 56 years old. Stanley was preceded in death by his father.

Fred William Shields

Fred William Shields passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 in Tulsa, Okla., surrounded by family. Born on January 8, 1950 in Stroud, Okla., Fred was 71 years old. Fred was one of 11 children of Ralph and Winfred G. (Thomas) Shields. He was a 1968 graduate of Stroud High School.

Shirley Mae Petricek

Shirley Mae (Rogers) Petricek of McLoud, Okla., was born July 28, 1934, in McLoud and died Monday, March 8, 2021, at the age of 86 years. Petricek, the daughter of Willie Faye Rogers and Lunell Carnal Rogers, married Orven W. Petricek on October 9, 1953, in Harrah, Okla.

Arayah Noelle Autry

Arayah Noelle Autry was born at Autry Ranch on December 28, 2020, and died Saturday, February 27, 2021. She was almost nine weeks old.

Grant Edward Burget

Grant Edward Burget, 69, of Chandler, Okla., died on February 26 at his home. He was born July 15, 1951 to George and Doris (James) Burget in Oklahoma City, Okla. Grant grew up in Stroud and Chandler, where he became well known for being one of the fastest kids in the state.

Michael Ray Bailey

Michael Ray Bailey was born February 7, 1956, in Chandler. He died Saturday, February 27, 2021, at his home. He was 65 years old. A 1974 graduate of Wellston High School, he was a tower crane operator and worked for Flintco.
