Welcome to all visitors and alums who are in town this weekend for alumni activities and Memorial Day remembrances. It is always a special weekend in our community; a time to reconnect with old friends and reminisce about those who are no longer with us.

Stroud’s mini-golf course has arrived; in multiple pieces, but it has arrived! Thank you to Miller Truck Lines for delivering it to us. J. P. Morris, Janet Griebel, City Manager Bob Pearman and I put one hole together to see how difficult the process would be.

Remembering Mother’s Day

We men should be acutely aware of why this coming Sunday is a special day. In case you’ve forgotten, this Sunday is Mother’s Day. It’s definitely a day to honor the women in our lives. That includes the mothers, grandmothers and other women who do so much for us men and our children.
