Dale school board approves new hires, resignations

Dale Board of Education members this week approved hiring several new teachers, several new support staff for 2025-2026 and accepted the resignations of two personnel.They also hired current support staff in a capacity to be determined by the administration for 2025-2026.

Harrah man facing new felony, misdemeanor

By Mike McCormick Staff Writer A Harrah man with several previous felony convictions is facing a new felony and a misdemeanor.Travis Wayne Kaskaske, 43, was formally charged in Lincoln County District Court on March 24, 2025 with bringing contraband into a jail/penal institution, a felony.

County commissioners take no action on 911 trust authority

Lincoln County commissioners this week began discussing how to possibly change or dissolve the 911 TrustAuthority by a vote of the people.Following some discussion, no action was taken by commissioners.

Mannford man dies in single car crash

A Mannford man has died as the result of injuries suffered in a one-vehicle traffic collision north of Davenport in Lincoln County over the weekend.Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Robinson identified the victim as Johnny C. Smith, 65.
