Summer festivals return to Stroud, Chandler

Two local festivals are coming up on June 14 in Chandler and Stroud.In Chandler, the 24th Annual Ice Cream Festival is set to take place in Tilghman Park from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The festival will feature free ice cream from Hiland Dairy, inflatable games, and more.

A Lincoln Count jury has convicted a Stroud man of seven felonies and a sentencing date has been scheduled.Formal charges were filed Sep. 24, 2024 in Lincoln County District Court against Acey Ambrose Murphy, 33. He appeared before Associate District Judge Sheila Kirk the same day he was charged.
