Chandler splashed through a steady rain Friday night, beating Dewey, 35-6, and securing the home field advantage for the first round of the Class 2A playoffs this week.As the runnersup in District 2A-4, the Lions will host the Hugo Buffaloes, the third-place team in district 2A-3 at 7 p.m.

Stroud pummeled the Luther Lions last week, winning 58-0, and racking up the fourth unbeaten regular season in the school’s history.The Tigers’ only close game this season was the opener against ancient rival, Chandler, which they won, 21-14.

A Davenport man facing a felony drug count and two other charges following his arrest by a Lincoln County Deputy has been sentenced on an amended misdemeanor possession count.
North Rock Creek High School recently announced its students of the month. Those honored include: freshmen Mattie Rogers and Trip Swan; sophomore Piper Reece and Jase Warren; juniors Birelle Lee and Mathew Carey; and seniors Elle Barger and Kaiden Samuels.

Plea in sex case

Prague band fund-raiser
