Lincoln County commissioners this week awarded a bid for a road project in District 1 and also approved a Memorandum of Understanding with the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma for a road overlay in District 3.

Guilty pleas

A Cushing woman facing a felony and two misdemeanors has waived her preliminary hearing and entered guilty pleas to cases filed last December and in May of this year.

State Auditor and Inspector Cindy Byrd has released the findings of a forensic audit of financial accounts of former District Attorney Allan Grubb who resigned in September of 2022.
