Six area schools moved into regional slow-pitch tournaments this week. Chandler, North Rock Creek, McLoud and Prague are playing in Class 5A and Dale and Stroud are in Class 4A. Two teams from each regional will qualify for next week’s state tournaments.

Wild hogs remain rampant throughout different portions of Lincoln and Pottawatomie Counties and they are continuing to damage property in various areas.A better solution needs to be considered than is in place now.The hog problem isn’t new to either Lincoln or Pottawatomie County.
