Construction on the new Prague High School is ahead of schedule, according to outgoing Superintendent Kimberly Fleak.At a regular school board meeting on June 8, Fleak said that Phase II is projected to be finished by January 2028, which is two months earlier than originally planned.

Carol Lou James Melson of Davenport passed away peacefully at her home at the age of 80 on June 10. She was born on March 20, 1946, in Prague, Oklahoma, to Elmer Lee and Lena “Marie” Wallis James. Carol graduated from Davenport High School in 1964.
