Chandler’s track squads competed at the Moore track meet on Saturday against a field of 5A and 6A schools. The girls finished 12th and the boys 14th, with freshman Lila McGough finishing third.

Initial appearance set in manslaughter

A $20,000 bench warrant issued for the arrest of a young Prague man charged with first degree manslaughter has been returned and filed and his initial appearance set. A formal charge was filed March 2 this year in Lincoln County District Court against Joseph Resin Linnhuber.

April hearing scheduled on rape charges

A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for a Chandler man facing multiple rape charges after he was arrested by Lincoln County deputies.

Early voting on March 30 and 31

Early voting begins Thursday March 30th for voters in Lincoln County. Voters who will not be able to make it to the polls on Election Day, have the option of voting early at their County Election Board.

Davenport Chamber Banquet March 20

Davenport Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual banquet at 6 p.m. March 20 in the fellowship hall of the First Baptist Church. Tickets are on sale in advance for $20 and may be bought at Central Oklahoma Telephone Company’s office in Davenport.

Charges filed in shooting near Wellston

A Midwest City man, who already has been convicted of at least 18 felonies, faces three more following a Lincoln County shooting near Wellston last month that injured a person. Casey Mac Wilson, 42, was formally charged in Lincoln County District Court on Feb.
