A.J. Pierce Jr. (known to most of us by either Curly or Bill) was born September 1, 1953, in Cushing, OK to the late A.J. “Bill” Pierce Sr. and Bonnie (Pruitt) Pierce. He departed this life on September 12, 2022, at his home in Cushing at the age of 69.

The last of “those sweet little Waters kids” has rejoined her family in Our Heavenly Father’s Home; she is walking those streets of gold, swinging her arms and singing! We rejoice that she is no longer suffering with the dreaded Dementia disease.

Meeker approves statement of needs

The Meeker Board of Education recently approved the Estimates of Needs and financial statement for 2022-2023, hired a teacher, an Aide and also an adjunct teacher. Board members also accepted the resignation of an Aide as well. School Supt.

Hearing set in road blocks case
