Dennis Eugene Crittenden died Aug. 8, 2022. He was born on June 22, 1963 in Stroud, Okla. to Clarice Gean (Hall) and Houston Glover Crittenden. He was a Stroud High School graduate from the class of 1981. He worked for several years as a Security Officer for many different businesses.

Hearing continued in marijuana case

A preliminary hearing has been continued for the owner of two Lincoln County marijuana growing operations after his facilities were seized and shut down in February. A formal charge was filed Feb.

Hearing set for Agra woman

A pre-preliminary hearing has been scheduled for an Agra woman charged with a felony and a misdemeanor. A formal charge of possession of firearm after former conviction of a felony was filed in Lincoln County District Court against Trista Marie Dye, 38. She was arrested by Lincoln County deputies.

Six charges dropped; five refiled

Six charges, one felony and five misdemeanors, filed after Stroud police arrested a driver during a traffic stop, have been dismissed and the five misdemeanor counts refiled. Formal charges were filed April 7 in Lincoln County District Court against Daniel Frank Kozlowski, 43, of Bristow.

No brews at Meeker Pumpkin Festival

Meeker’s Board of Trustees decided during their meeting this week there will be no beer tent at this year’s Pumpkin Festival in October. They also set the date for Trick or Treat night in October.

Shouse has worked for Vision Bank for 10 years. He is a graduate of Meeker High School. He and his wife Marisa are the parents of Mikaylie.

The Lincoln County Partnership for Child Well-Being will have its 2nd Annual Boots & Pearls Fundraising Event from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 Sep. 1 at The Interpretive Center. The Lincoln County Partnership for Child Well-Being is a resource for the improvement in child wellbeing in Lincoln County.

Felony charges for Chandler man

A felony charge has been filed against a Chandler man for lewd or indecent acts to a child under 16. Formal charges were filed June 17 in Lincoln County District Court against Wesley Rahe Jordan, 37.
