Hearing continued

A pre-preliminary hearing has been continued for a Luther man charged with two felonies and two misdemeanors after allegedly discharging a firearm in a case investigated by Lincoln County deputies and other officers.

Driver charged in I-44 case

A motorist faces a felony and two misdemeanors after he was arrested by a state trooper on the Turner Turnpike in Lincoln County. Formal charges were filed May 3 in Lincoln County District Court against Steven Mitchell Jones, 31, of Skiatook.

Guilty plea in case with gun

A Chandler man scheduled to stand trial on a felony charge and misdemeanor count has pleaded guilty and been given suspended sentences. Roy Allen Butler, 31, was formally charged in Lincoln County District Court on Feb.

Election advance

Voters in Lincoln County and Pottawatomie can begin heading to the polls today to help decide which candidates make it to the Nov. 8 General Election. Those in Meeker and Davenport also will vote on propositions.

Grubb resigns

Pottawatomie and Lincoln Counties District Attorney Allan Grubb has resigned, submitting a letter to Gov. Kevin Stitt stating his resignation is effective Sep. 30.
