Preliminary hearing in grow house bust

A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for the owner of a major illegal marijuana grow operation who was charged following her arrest by agents in June of last year. During a pre-preliminary hearing June 23, Special Judge Emily Mueller scheduled the preliminary hearing for 1:30 p.m. Sep. 1.

Wade Wayne Cope, 89, of Carney, Okla. passed away on June 24, 2022. Wade was born Feb. 5, 1933 to Gerald and Zella Cope (Dodd) in Clinton, Okla. At fourteen, while attending school in Carney, he rented and later purchased a wooded property, which he improved and farmed for the next seventy years.
