Retrial set in fatal Turner Turnpike crash

A Tulsa woman charged with first degree manslaughter and multiple other felony offenses whose trial was declared a mistrial earlier this year, will be retried again.

Arraignments in OnCue case

Arraignments for two men charged in a shooting at an On Cue in Stroud last Oct. 9 have been scheduled for next month.

Special county meeting

Lincoln County commissioners, during a special meeting this week, awarded a bid for construction of the west wall and the stem wall at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds. They also formed a committee for a possible courthouse remodel and jail expansion.

Preliminary hearing set in pot bust

A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for the owner of two Lincoln County marijuana growing operations after his facilities were seized and shut down in February. A formal charge was filed Feb.

Hearing set for Chandler man accused of felonies

Pre-preliminary hearings have been continued to later this month for a Chandler man facing multiple felonies in three separate cases. Christopher Allen Michael Hyde, 20, was charged Nov. 10 in Lincoln County District Court with knowingly receiving or concealing stolen property.

Meeker hires three teachers

Meeker’s Board of Education hired four new teachers and accepted the resignation requests of three others during its meeting this week. The board also approved a contract for the transportation of natural gas for the 2022-2023 school year and approved an insurance quote for 2022-2023.
