County high school honor rolls released

Chandler High School Officials at Chandler High School have released the honor rolls for the first semester of the 2021-2022 school year. The following students earned a spot on the “A” Honor Roll.

Arm injury no barrier to success

As people watch Davenport basketball player Hayden Brooks go up and down the court they may not notice a slight limitation. Hayden is a 6-1 senior and leads the Bulldogs in scoring this season with a 28.5 average. In a recent game, he had 10 dunks and scored 29 points.

David Lee “Dave” Sitton was born May 25, 1955, in Sapulpa, Okla., to Bearl and Goldie (Helm) Sitton. Dave departed this life on January 10, 2022, at the age of 66. Dave grew up in Chandler, Okla., on a dairy farm, where he learned the value of hard work from an early age.
