Meeker board of education meeting

Meeker Board of Education members here this week appointed a new member to board seat No. 3, evaluated the superintendent and accepted a resignation.Following an executive session and returning to open meeting, the board members appointed Steven Mooy to board seat No. 3.

All-district teams for District 2A-4 and XXB- have been released.In District 2A-4, Chandler’s Coniah Ritchie, (No. 2 at left) was named the defensive player of the year.

Chandler board of education meeting

The Chandler School Board approved a memorandum of understanding with the Chandler Education Foundation to direct money to the Performing Arts Center at its regular meeting on Dec. 8.

The Stroud Chamber of Commerce is happy to announce a new event this year, a Christmas Cookie Walk. This will take place on Thursday, Dec. 11, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Main Street, Stroud. Downtown businesses will be serving treats while you enjoy the lights.
